There are 4 Meets in each club Championship Season.
The aim of the STARplex Club Championships is to arrive at a male & female club champion in each age group, to have a chance to break a club record and to swim your preferred stroke in the best time you can. You will be awarded points in each event in your age group. (see over)
Medals will also be presented on the final presentation night to the top swimmers in each age.
Come and Try events are for non club swimmers who would like to have a go at racing. Aimed at all levels & ages (including parents!) and multi class swimmers.
5.30pm : Arrive, collect food tokens and Swimmers attend warm up
5.30pm: Come and Try Swimmers report to Come and Try Supervisors
5.45pm: Advise Recording desk of last minute entry changes and swimmer withdrawals
6.00pm: Club Championships and Come and Try commences
8.00pm: Food ready
Entry fee of $7.00 includes up to 4 events (plus relays) and Food. Spectators incl Food $7.00
Timekeepers are required on the day. We also train volunteer officials in Judge of Stroke or Inspector of Turns. For more information on officiating training email: firstname.lastname@example.org

Medals are awarded to top 3 placings in each age for full club members after the last meet of the series. Medals are presented at Club AGM and Awards night
Results will be displayed on the Club Website after the meet and will be cumulative across all 4 meets in the Club Champs Series. Age for awards will be as of the date of the last meet in the series.
Relays will be novelty relays in teams with prizes for the winning team awarded at the end of each meet.
Times achieved cannot be used to qualify for official swim meets or for records.
